Dear Panther Family,
I’m incredibly grateful for our vibrant campus community and I’m thankful for each opportunity to interact and connect with our wonderful students, esteemed faculty, and dedicated staff. However, the transient nature of life serves as a poignant reminder that losses within our community can occur, and the impact is profound.
To bestow the appropriate respect and honor upon those we’ve lost, the university will host our 2nd annual Eternal Flame Ceremony, where we will recognize members of the Panther community – students, faculty and staff – we’ve lost over the past year.
Please join us for the ceremony on Tuesday, April 9, at 3 p.m. in the Centennial Hall auditorium at 100 Auburn Avenue. A reception will follow in the atrium of Centennial Hall. At the ceremony, we will recognize those we’ve lost, and hopefully bring a small sense of comfort to their loved ones.
Please RSVP at https://events.gsu.edu/eternal-flame/ef-campus-community. As always, the university has many services available to those in need. To learn more visit bewell.gsu.edu.
All the best,
