Dear Panther Family,
In light of tonight’s Georgia State Football Home Opener, I want to encourage you all to come out to support our Panthers as they face Rhode Island at 7 p.m. at Center Parc Stadium for THERSday Night football.
During the last nearly 3 years I have served as President of Georgia State, our Football team has continued to be competitive. Since last season ended, our Panther Football team has worked incredibly hard to become a tougher and better prepared program. Your support matters and so, as the Panther community supports them even more this season and beyond, the sky is the limit.
Sports have an incredible way of bringing people together. Few experiences capture the essence of Panther pride quite like supporting our athletic teams. With a strong body of students on campus and those who commute, football games are a great place to build our Panther Family. Beyond the exhilarating match ups under bright lights, it’s a time to forge new friendships and support your fellow Panthers. Your support doesn’t go unnoticed by the players and coaching staff. Your cheers from the stands can make a difference in boosting team morale and influencing the outcome of a game.
As you stand by your team during victories and losses, you become an important part of their journey, contributing to their success in ways that go beyond stats. I personally attend every home game and the opportunity to meet our students is priceless.
I hope to see you all there tonight and throughout the entire season!!
Go ‘THERS!!!
All the best,
