Dear Panther Family,
At Georgia State University, when we talk about “College to Careers”, we mean that our students have access to gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of careers. At GSU, we work incredibly hard to provide direct preparation for students through experiential learning while also facilitating career professionals who return to college to enhance their skills. Our vision is to produce the most diverse and career-ready students in the nation.
This week, I had a great time meeting with our GSU Georgia Legislative Interns and two dynamic GSU alums, Jason R. Anavitarte and Max Burns. Our Panthers complete their internship at the State of Georgia Capitol Building which is basically located on our campus! There, they can network and observe the day-to-day tasks of our state’s top leaders. What a great learning opportunity. I encourage every Panther to take advantage of these wonderful and local “College to Careers” opportunities.
All the best,
